A New Project

 I've pulled the sewing machine back out and have started another project. Avery wanted to make some snakes, so we chose some fabric and I sewed her some snakes and then stuffed them. She really likes them and I think they turned out pretty good too. I've also been piecing together another quilt. I am so excited about this one and cant wait to see what it looks like all done.

Memorial Day

We got to go put flowers on Uncle Glenn's grave today for Memorial day. It was nice to visit his grave and talk to the kids about their memories of him. We also got to run into Grandma who was also putting flowers on his grave. We also got to do something I have wanted to do since I was a young girl. When I would go out with my family to places flowers on the graves. I would see graves with no flowers and I always felt so sad. I always wanted to get flowers and put them on graves that didn't have flowers on them. So when I went and bought flowers to put on Glenn's grave I bought extras so we can give flowers to a grave site that may no longer have relatives living to do so. I even took pictures of the graves so that I can look these people up and find out a little more about them. I hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial day and gets to take some time to remember those loved ones that are no longer here.

 

Spring Show

 Averys Glee club had their spring show this weekend. She did such an amazing job. She had a solo part as Ursula and was in so many great numbers, We are so proud of our little theater girl and she seemed to have such a fun time performing it.

Desert Beauty

I absolutely love some of the color that brightens the desert in spring. Especially the flowering cactus. SO PRETTY!! And so many colors, pinks, reds, yellows, oranges. Spring time is so beautiful here.
 

County Fair

Its County Fair time!!! Avery decided not to go and instead hang out with her friend and Daddy had to work. So it was a fun filled day with me and my cute boy. We got to see a bunch of animals and fun things. Kilian got to ride his first pony (he said he wasn't scared anymore) and loved every minute of it.
 We got to pet a bunch of farm animals and the tractors OH THE TRACTORS!!!! We spent so much time playing on the tractors. :). We went and played a couple games and he got to ride some rides before it was time for some yummy fair food for lunch. Then we needed to get home so I could take a nap before I had to be back at work. Overall though it was a great day and we both had a lot of fun.

School Concert

 

7 years old

 We had a fun night celebrating Kilians birthday. He got to take some cupcakes to school to celebrate with his class. We had the house decorated for him when he got home from school. We played battleship and Kids Against Maturity then we had pizza for dinner like he wanted and then did presents and a cake. Just a fun little family part. HAPPT BIRTHDAY KILIAN!!!!!!

SEVEN YEARS

 At 7 Years Old Kilian Favorite Things Are:

He still loves trucks, cars, trains, pretty much if it moves and has an engine.

Going swimming either at the lake or pool
