More Quarantine Fun
The kids are going crazy!!!! So I decided to take them for a quick outing to a park with no playground and that I know doesn't have a lot of people. That way they aren't tempted to play on a playground, we can social distance, and they can get some of their energy out. We have also been watching A LOT of TV but doing fun stuff too like building forts and trying to keep up on Avery's homework.

COVID-19
So March took a turn for the worse. The world has been watching this virus that has been spreading called The Corona Virus or Covid-19. Well it has gotten progressively worse; to the point that slowly various businesses and such are closing. People are either out of work or working from home. Well we got the news that schools are closing and moving to online learning for now. In fact states are starting to go under quarantine and Utah is one of them. So spring break and all the fun plans I had for the kiddo's has gone out the window. We are told to "Stay safe, Stay Home." James has a job that doesn't involve the need to be around people; So he can participate in "Social Distancing" (staying 6 feet or farther from people) and still continue with his job. I know he hates it and would prefer to stay home with us, but I feel better about the thought of having money still coming in through his job. It's been interesting to say the least trying to keep the kids entertained. We do have a small ravine behind our apartment complex. I did take Avery there to go hiking one day to try and help her stay sane. But we are following the rules and staying home most of the time. Grocery shopping is now done online and we schedule a time to pick it up from the store. You get to the store text the number that you are there. someone brings the grocery's out and you open the trunk while they load them up. All while wearing masks, occasionally gloves and always staying 6 ft or more apart. I cant believe what this pandemic is doing to the world. Well between trying to get Avery to do homework online (that's a fun chore) I also try and keep them entertained with more productive means other than just TV and video games. Which I hate to say has been a bigger go to than it should be. Avery got some fun craft items for Christmas so we have been making some of those. We did a fleece tie blanket, some friendship bracelets and of course painted rocks. All in all it's been really REALLY hard so far.

NAUGHTY BOY
Kilian (probably with the help or initiation of Avery) got into my makeup and made a HUGE mess. It was a PAIN to clean up and he was so proud of himself. GRRRRRR. He thinks he's so cute. Well he is! BUT NOT (always) WHEN HE'S NAUGHTY.

School is Tiring
I just wanted to share. When Kilian and I went to pick up Avery is went fairly normal. He was excited to see his big sister and happy to get to go for a ride. After we picked her up she was telling me about her day and how she was so excited for Spring Break next week. Then it got really quiet in the backseat. We somewhere between 3 to 5 miles from her school when I noticed this. I was finally able to look back when I hit a read light. They were both OUT COLD. For Kilian to fall asleep driving back from getting Avery is a pretty normal occurrence, but for Avery to fall asleep? Very Unusual!
Even more unusual is that after we got home they both laid down and went right back to sleep. They slept a long time too. I couldn't believe it. A rare RARE day indeed

Big Helper
All done" followed by a little cheer. These are precious moments that really fill this mamma heart of mine with so much love I think I may cry with joy sometimes.

A Day with my Boy
After the kids museum we walked around the park outside to hide rocks and then to ride the carousel. He really did not like it at first, but close to the end of the ride I think he decided it was ok. We were the only ones riding at the time and the lady who was running the ride kept waving and saying hi and giving him encouraging words every time we passed. It was such a sweet moment of kindness.
