Well first off I wanted to thank everyone for the baby shower and gifts. You guys really helped to relieve a lot of stress and anxiety. :) Now onto the update. Yes I'm still pregnant. :p I am in my 38th week. I am not dilated at all...in fact she hasn't even dropped. I am really starting to get a little uncomfortable and certain things are even a little painful at this point. Like getting into bed at first. My doctor told me yesterday that I may have preclampsia and has me doing labs to see. If I do he says it's not a big deal he can just induce me and we can go from there. He also said that he thinks she is a rather big baby. When I asked him how big, he said probably between 7 to 9 pounds. Oi! As if I wasn't having enough anxiety as it is, lets add this tid bit of news. :p As far as being ready for her though, I think we're as ready as we'll ever be. I have been washing her clothes for the past few days and putting them in a dresser. I borrowed my mom's rug doctor and I am going to clean the carpets, then it's just going to be putting the nursery/office back together. :) So here's to hoping that everything (whatever is in store for us) goes as smooth as possible. :)

Baby Update
I am ending my 35th week and heading into my 36th. My doctor appointments are weekly now. And not this weekend but the next is going to be my last trip up to Salt Lake for awhile. Dr. B says that she is still doing great. She has a good strong heartbeat of 158 BPM. My sleeping pattern has changed quite a lot, which isn't as big a deal since I don't work but is still kinda annoying. When it's supposed bedtime I lay in bed listening to the chorus of snoring from James and the dogs while I lay wide awake. :p Usually I will read until i get tired or watch a movie or something till I fall asleep. I've tried willing myself to sleep but after a while just laying there in the dark my anxiety kicks in and then I really cant get to sleep. My Dr. suggested Tylenol PM or benadryl right before I go to bed. So far the Tylenol worked but I had horrible dreams that after I woke up left me very emotional and depressed. I am going to try the benedryl and see if its any better. As far as the little one. I don't feel her move as much but when she does there's no missing it. :p My whole belly shifts. It's kinda weird yet fun. I told James it feels like running your hand over a marble ball...only the ball is inside pressing out. Maybe that doesn't make sense. Anyway things are going good here in Cedar. I think we are starting to get use to the town a little more.To be quite honest the people aren't as friendly as we had originally thought...or maybe all the mean one we are running into are tourist. Who knows. Anyway the big question that everyone has been asking us is Are We Ready? and our answer right now is NO! :) I know that it will change. We just have a lot of stuff to do and get before she arrives. Actually I have been having a lot of anxiety attacks because of it. But we are slowly making progress. Which is great to relieve some anxiety. :p This past week our focus has been on getting her room ready
Which you can see really needed it. :p Actually this was still after a bit of work. But we still had box's that we needed to go through and find either a place for them or to add stuff to the Thrift Store pile...aka DI. :p SO James and I started to look things over and came up with a plan. We headed to Walmart and bought a couple of bookshelves to start us off. After getting them put together we were able to eliminate almost all of the box's...since most of them were books. Hooray! Currently our nursery (/office) looks like this...
The closet still looks the same but until we actually get a dresser or something to put her clothes in, we wont be able to do a lot with that. So we still have a lot of work to do, but I do feel better. Mom and Dad A. are coming down this next week and they said they would bring some of the bigger baby stuff from the condo. So that will help relieve a lot of stress too. I am hoping I can use there help getting stuff sorted out a little more. I am still waiting for this so called nesting period and the burst of energy you get with it so that I will actually have the energy to do all these things I want to. So that we are ready when little one does come. My family is putting together a baby shower for the 19th and I think that will also help relieve some stress and anxiety too. Not having a lot of stuff I need is the biggest anxiety right now. So I am hoping that as these next few days/weeks go by that will ease up a bit. Things are going good I promise. :) I think this was just a sort of therapy for me, to be able to blog about all the things that are worrying me and stuff. I apologize though and award you a hypothetical gold star for getting through this post. :) I will try and not be such a ball of anxiety the next time I post.

Benefit Concert
Sorry for taking so long in posting, our lives are starting to get a little crazy. Abby's benefit concert went really well. I was really touched at how many people not only showed up but donated some pretty extravagant things. We had everything from handmade quilts, TONS of gift baskets, a lot of local companies donated gift cards and season passes. Including a gift certificate for wedding cakes of up to $500. The eye institute donated a Lasik procedure of up to $8000. Lifetime donated a 2 person kayak. But I think the biggest ticket item of the night was the last minute surprise donation of a 5 night Hawaiian vacation for up to 8 people! The whole night was a success. T-minus 5 was Hilarious and so much fun to watch. They're energy filled the auditorium and got everyone up on their feet and dancing. Through all this I had my camera...but did I take a single picture? Of course not that would have been the smart thing to do. :p If I get my hands on any though I will post them. All in all it was a great night everything was sold and Nikki and Justin got quite a chunk of change to help out with their ridiculously high medical bills. But the best part of the whole evening? Through the wonderful invention that is technology. Abby got to be there through almost the whole thing via Skype. James had her Ipad the whole night. He walked it around showing her all the donation that people gave. Then he held it during the whole concert so she could be apart of all the fun. The first half of the show T-minus 5 didn't know this but I guess someone told them cause after the intermission when they started the second half of the concert they had James sit right up front holding the Ipad and they included Abby in the show. Talking to her, singing to her, etc. It was so cute. hey even did a special little tribute to her. To block out excess noise James had the ear phones plugged in and had one in his ear. He said that during the video tribute Abby started to cry. James said it was hard to listen to her and not be able to give her a big hug. All in all the whole night was a huge success. Everyone, including Abby had a great time. Lots of people got to go home with some great auction items. I am so glad we were able to make the journey north to be apart of Abby on her big night. We got to go see her Sunday as we headed out of town we spent about 4 hours with her and her mom just talking and playing games. She got to go home the week after that. She is doing well. She has 2-3 doctor visits a week, 34 pills she has to take daily at the exact same time not a minute to soon or late. When she is inside she has to stay kinda confined to her room. She cant be around pets or any kind. When she goes out she has to wear a mask. There are just so many restrictions for the first few months after a heart transplant. Little cold bugs and viruses that would not bother us or put us in bed for a day or two could kill her. Normal allergens that we are use to..like the ones our pets carry could cause heart rejection. It's just crazy all the things she has to watch for. Her and her mom joke that maybe she should be put in a plastic bubble for awhile. :p She is doing well though. She is very glad to be home and close to family and friends.
