Halloween Parade and Falcon Flight

 Today was a fun day for Avery, the last day of school before Halloween so there was a lot of fun and partying to be had. The day started with getting her in her costume and out the door which is always fun. :p We called Nona and Grumpy to let them know that we were heading to school to drop Avery off and then watch the Schools Halloween parade. We got to do a video chat with the family so all who could had a chance to participate. Avery (as you can see in the pictures😉) was so excited and happy that we were all able to be there. After the parade the school had their " Falcon Flight". Kids that are a great example of the school expectations of kindness, respect, teamwork, character building and high expectations. Avery was selected for the month of October because she willing endured safety patrol through a heavy rainstorm. Way to go Kiddo! She got a chance to run around the school while the whole school cheered and then they did a little group huddle thing. She was so excited to be selected. Lots of early morning fun.

A Day of Firsts

Today was CRaZy hAiR dAY for Kilian. This is how his school celebrates Halloween, they explained it to me but I didn't really understand. 

Kilian at first didn't want to have any crazy hair but then after awhile he decided he wanted spikey white hair. So this is what we came up with.

Later that evening Avery had her first orchestra concert at the high school. As long as their costume didn't get in the way of playing their instrument (masks and such) they were allowed to wear them. Nona, Grumpy and Lisa joined us to watch her play. It has been difficult for her most mornings to get up so early to be at practice but she's been doing good and I am so proud of my cute girl. She did great and looked so cute in her little cat costume.
