Water Fun

It's been super hot lately and I haven't had a chance to get myself and the kids away because of homework. Luckily even though Avery is "too old" for the slip n' slide and mini pool, Kilian is not. He had so much fun playing in the water on such a hot hot day.
 

Hunny Bunny

Bunk beds

When we moved in with my parents a June of last year we got the kids this bunk bed. At the time I was very skeptical about its sturdiness and construction. 

Lesson learned : I should have gone with my gut. These past couple of months it started to

Come apart piece by piece. Leaving sharp edges that my kiddos could cut themselves on. Luckily they didn’t. This past week was the final straw for me when the front railings of the top bunk started to come apart till there was nothing left. For those who know how messy of a sleeper Avery is, this wasn’t going to fly. Today I was able to find a sturdy good quality solid wood bunk on marketplace for only $50. I consider this a wonderful blessing from the Lord that we were able to get this so quickly to help protect our kiddos. Sorry this was so long.

First Day of KINDERGARTEN!!!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! My little guy is getting so big, I cant believe he is already starting Kindergarten. I have both waited for and dreaded this day to come. He is super excited to start school and be like his big sister. He is also super excited to be able to ride the bus. His teacher is Miss Parr and she is super nice. I'm excited to see how he does riding the bus home and going all day on his first day of school.

New Dog

 Mom and Dad got a new dog today. Meet Ruffles the 2 year old male Pekingese. It'll be fun to get to know him and see his little personality once he gets use to us.

Farmers Market

 Our cute little booth at the Farmers Market today. We didn't sell much, but its a fun atmosphere to be in and just enjoy the live music, outdoors and meeting new people.

Lemons to Lemonade

At the beginning of the month Kilian was playing minecraft and got mad at the game and decided to throw the controller at the TV. Well the image below shows the irreparable damage. After disconnecting all the cords from the PlayStation and such, I sadly hauled the TV outside and was about to throw it away. But then I realized that this broken TV actually gave us a rare opportunity. So I painted a bullseye on it and we loaded it into the car. Today we took it out and decided to use it for shooting practice. Avery's friend Maya came with us and with her parents permission and being closely watched was able to shoot the 22 rifle. We all took turns with the rifle, except Kilian because he's to young and didn't want to and Avery because she was to scared. I also took the chance to shoot my 380 hand gun again. SO despite the sadness of losing the TV we also were able to go have some fun and shoot it. :p

 

Kitty Love

 This cat rarely jumps up and sits/lays next to you. So when it does happens the best thing to do is enjoy it while you can.
