A Moment From Our Life.

Well I realized that the only time I really blog is when we do something fun or when something big happens to us. I thought it would be fun to just talk a little about our day to day and post some cute "everyday" type pictures. I will admit there is absolutely nothing glamorous or extravagant about our life.it's usually the same wake up, breakfast, nap time, lunch, daddy comes home, dinner, nightly routine, bed and of course movies, tv shows, walks, playtime in between. But just like the quote above. It's the simple everyday things that make life worth while. Everyday Avery learns something new and shocks the heck out of me with how much of a smarty she is.

 She loves tomatoes and was so excited the other day when her Nona gave her a full one to eat.

 Avery was sick last week so I pulled out her pack n play and set it up in the living room just in case she woke up in the middle of the night (again) we could sleep out there and let daddy get some sleep in the room. Thankfully she slept through the night so we didn't use it. But she was super excited to see it there in the morning. She played in it all day just in and out. The bottom picture is of her waving bye bye to me to get me to go away. :p

 Being her mischievous little self. She got into the diaper bag and pulled out a bunch of wet wipes before I could stop her. This little girl is full of so much energy she makes me laugh.
OH! I almost forgot, I think I have mentioned before how when we like the big bang theory she likes to dance and sing a long. Then for her big finish she throws her hand in the air and says bang. I have been trying to get this on video but haven't succeeded very well. But I did get this...

Sorry for it being sideways. I really hope to get one of her through the whole thing. She gets so sidetracked when she sees the camera. A lot of the time she smiles at me cause she thinks I am taking her picture. But until I can get a better video this will do. :) Happy Friday everyone!

Labor Day Fun

Most of our labor day this year was actually spent down in the basement painting our new rooms. Hooray! But we decided to take a break from that for a little while and go for a hike. At the garage sale we had a couple weeks back we made a great trade with my sister in law and her boys. When we were packing up our nephews really wanted some of James' old tae kwon do padding he use to use. So we traded that for this awesome baby carrier. Well over labor day weekend we thought we'd try it out. Avery absolutely hated it at first. but when she discovered that we were going outside with it she decided it wasn't that bad. By the end of our hike she was a happy yet tired little girl. We live at the base of the mountains, not quite the benches. I don't know anyway. they have these ATV, Horse and hiking trails really close to our house. So we decided to keep it simple and stay close to home. The trail we went on is a short trail that leads to the Bonneville shoreline trail. The first part of the hike was hard and hot. but once we got to the top of the hill it was shady and cool. There was even a cute stream that we hiked next to. We had a lot of fun. It helped remind me just how much I love to hike and I think we will try and get as much of it in before the snow starts to fly. But then we might just head to Moab and continue down there. Here are some pictures of our hike. I had my camera on the wrong setting for some of the pictures so there are a few that are dark and not a lot of pictures. oh well. :)
