Easter

 HAPPY EASTER!!!

Kilian got to go to two easter egg hunts, Avery spent the night at a friends house so she didn't go with us. The first one the hurricane city one was a bit of a bust. Kilian got 2 eggs. So we headed to Toquerville and he was able to fill his basket to overflowing. He had fun and was able to see some friends.

Later after Avery came home we were able to dye eggs and get them ready for the Easter bunny.

Easter morning. The bunny came and everything was happy and the kiddos got candy and fun things galore.

After church we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Earls for some Easter Sunday dinner and I hid some more eggs for them to find. Overall it was a very fun family filled time.

Confluence Park

 I felt like the kids and I have been in the house a lot lately and needed to get out and enjoy nature. We tried to go to this hike by an old mine. But while driving out there we started to hit some deep sand and I really didn't want to get stuck in our little car. So I turned around and we tried something else. I had heard about Confluence Park and the pictures I saw on google looked kind of interesting. We went there instead and it did not disappoint. The walkway started out next to this cute little stream and it just continued to get more and more beautiful the farther we went into the canyon. We ended up at a bridge and next to it was a little picnic area and two long rope swings. We probably spent at least 30 to 45 minutes here a lone. The kids loved swinging on those swings and Dixie was having so much fun digging in the dirt and wading into the river. Next time I would love to pack a little lunch to bring by wagon and just sit and enjoy the peacefulness of nature while the kids enjoy the swings.
