Saucer Fun
James' aunt Nancy and cousin Brenda bought Avery a fun saucer. She loves it so much. Sometimes when I am changing her she'll look up at it and smile and laugh and talk to it. It's so cute. To say Thank you again. I took some pictures of her in it and just wanted to share them with you.
The other day she was playing in her saucer while I was working on some things at the table. When i looked over to check on her this is what I saw... :)
Wore herself right out having so much fun. :) She's been having a lot of fun with this new toy. It's been so fun to play with her and show her all the fun things and what they do. She's getting so big. There are certain toys that she can make move and noise herself with out help.

Armstrong Reunion
Last weekend we had the chance to go up north for the Armstrong Reunion. James was able to take Monday off so we could enjoy the whole reunion. James got to see a lot of cousins and 2nd cousins that he hasn't seen in a long time. And we were excited to introduce Avery to everyone. We left early Friday and got up to Brigham City around 7:30. it was nice to be able to visit and have dinner with Mom and Dad A. before bed. We also used this trip to take advantage of doing "condo stuff". All day Saturday we went through the remainder of the stuff that was left at our condo. We sent a lot of stuff to DI or the trash. The decided on a few things we wanted to take back with us. The rest we hauled down to the basement of my in-laws house. they're so nice to let us keep it there. Then James said he had a special evening planned for our anniversary and told me to get ready. After I was done getting ready, he led me to hi parents back yard. I was met with Christmas lights and a candle lit dinner. I guess I need to explain. When James and I were engaged. He wrapped Christmas lights around the trees in his parents back yard in Kaysville for our reception. He actually had a friend who worked on the grounds crew for temple square to set up the Christmas lights. He came out and taught James how they wrap the lights on the grounds. So James was able to do the same in these trees. Well I was getting so frustrated and crazy trying to plan the wedding that James decided to surprise me one night after work. He had set up a table out under these trees he decorated and had called his mom when him and I were leaving work. She popped in a few pizza's and had it ready when we got to his house. It was so sweet...extremely cold (it was around 1AM). But that is one of my favorite memories of my in laws house in Kaysville. Next to the wedding of course. Anyway that's why this anniversary dinner was so meaningful to me. I loved that he took the time to reenact that. James is so sweet and kind. there are a lot of people that don't get him. But I see so much in him and I understand him in ways that I cant explain. he is my everything. My love for him as increased so much these past 6 years. And more so since we've had Avery. i love watching him interact with her. He's such a good dad and he loves her so much. I love watching their daddy daughter time and seeing the special connection that only they share. I just want to say to James (not sure if he'll read this but if he does...) I love you so much honey. I couldn't imagine my life without you. And I know we are going through some hard times and there will be more in the future. But there is no one else that I'd want to battle out this life with. I love you!
The main reason we headed up north was for the Armstrong reunion. I guess a reunion in the Armstrong family hasn't happened in a long time so I was looking forward to meeting everyone. Most of the people who came I had already met before. James' Aunt Nancy and Gordy. His cousin Brenda and her kids, Gordy and Kim, and his 2nd Cousin Dillon and his wife. but there were new faces that I get to meet. James' cousins Zane and Dale. And his Aunt Caroline and Uncle Lloyd. It was nice to chat with everyone and get to know them more. Truth be told though I spent most of the time worrying about Avery. We had the reunion in a park in Centerville and it was a fairly chilly day. I definitely had my first time mom hat on that day. :p We had a great time though. We got to spend time with family we don't see often enough and also got to celebrate Ethan's birthday. :) Over all a really great weekend. :)
I just love these two pictures. She sure loves her Daddy. :)
