Birthday Boy

 My little guy is now 9. We had a fun day celebrating his birthday. He had to wait for Dad to get home from work, and then he got to open his presents. After the presents, we took the kids to Crush Golf for some dinner and fun at the driving range. James and I had a lot of fun here for both of our company Christmas parties and thought the kids would enjoy it too. Kilian loved it. Avery was a little apprehensive at first but came out of her shell after a while and started having fun. Back at home for some cake and ice cream to round out the day. Happy Birthday, Cute Boy!!!!

Number NINE

 

Another year gone and another birthday. I love watching my kids grow and become little people, but at the same time it's hard, and I sometimes miss them as little ones. But I am super excited to see their personalities develop. Especially Kilian

Some of Kilian's Favorite Things are...

This boy loves making new friends wherever we go. 

He loves his Grandma, Nona, and Grumpy

He loves all types of animals.

He enjoys going on rides with his family and new adventures.

He still loves trains and the Titanic

Last year he got to go to Disneyland for the first time, and he LOVED that. Talks about it all the time and when he can go back. 

Some of the things Kilian is scared of...

He has such a tender heart that he hates seeing anyone sad or upset. Even if it's in a movie or not real. He is scared of the show Stranger Things and runs any time one of us wants to watch it. 

He really doesn't like fire alarms right now.  

Some new things Kilian is doing...

He is getting so good at math, and he is still doing well at reading. 

He recently learned how to ride his bike without his training wheels. 

He is starting to develop an interest in creating and crafting. 

Spring Break Adventures.

 I really don't want the kids to be stuck at home on screens through spring break. So today I thought it would be fun to go exploring. It did not disappoint. We found a new sandy beach by the river to play on, some ruins with really neat artwork, and a hiking trail that was longer than we anticipated. It sure was nice to get outside in the sunshine, explore, spend time, and overall just have fun.
