New Ride

 Say hello to the newest member of the Armstrong family. This is our new 2012 Jeep Compass. I have been waiting for YEARS to get another Jeep. I am SO excited.

Hurricane PD Party

Hurricane PD had a company party and BBQ at Quail Lake. It was kinda a fun way to spend my birthday.

Happy 4th of July

 Happy Independence Day.

Because of the drought this year, the county has restricted fireworks. So instead, we decided to do smoke bombs and snakes. The kids really seemed to love it. After James wasn't feeling well, he went home, and Mom and I took the kids out to Sandhollow. City employees were given special VIP access to the fireworks at the lake. It was really pretty watching the fireworks over the water. We had a lot of fun. Happy 4th of July.

Decorating the Shelter

 So the shelter has had the same decor since the 80's. I have been trying to slowly change the old pictures. When I completed a diamond art, and we didn't have anywhere to hang it, I took it to work and replaced a picture. I was trying to figure out what else to do, and I thought maybe I could paint my own pictures. So I decided to do a silhouette of a Great Dane and tried to make it look like a scratch art picture. I am actually really proud of it and think it turned out really well.
