So this post is going to be LAME I can tell you that right now. But for a good reason. August was HOT!!! :) We pretty much spent most of our days inside trying to stay cool. But we did realize that we needed to try and get Avery out so we could let her get out her energy. So on Aug 13th we decided to go to the Washington fair. I googled where the fair grounds were and off we went. All seemed well, till we realized google had lied to us. The fair wasn't were google had said and we got lost. So we made the most of it till we were about to call it. I didn't want to just go home though after a long time being just sitting in the car being lost. I realized that we were close to quail lake and decided to go there and stick our feet in the water, so our Saturday wouldn't be a complete bust. Avery did more then stick her feet in though. :p She laid down in the water. :p She would have gone in farther if I would have let her. We spent a good hour or two at the lake before we started getting really hungry. We decided to head back and go to a local burger joint called Larsen's frost top. YUM!
The funny thing about this story though is that the fair we were looking for was right across the street from the lake. :p Avery was soaking wet though and we were tired and hungry so we just went home.
We also had a few Avery naughty moments. the biggest one is that she got into my craft paints and she painted the hall closet door, almost the whole door. She used the carpet as her palette, and she painted a tiny spot on our door, her toilet, sink and footprints on the floor and side of the tub. :(
Yeah we were NOT happy. Oh she also painted her wall, floor. mattress and blankets.
Well that has been our August not very eventful just kinda blah. :p
