Baby First shows: Particularly Harry the Bunny, The Notekins, and Petey the Paintbrush .
Talking and screaming really loud (Still)
All her toys. :)
Reading Time with either Mommy or Daddy
Coloring and "playing" the piano on my kindle
Some of the new things she is doing:
She is still moving around like crazy

Picture Fun

Today Avery was in a fun and happy mood. I was trying to take pictures of this bow she was wearing to display it for Everythings Ducky. But she kept smiling and making faces at the camera. So I ran with it and we had fun. :) Enjoy!

 Superbaby!
And back to her show.  :p

Armstrong Family Christmas Party

So this past weekend we once again headed up North. This time for the Armstrong party. Again a little stressful. I think this whole trying to pack up and move in between holidays thing was not the best idea we've ever had. But when a great job offer like this comes up. you take it and run. :p At first we weren't going to go due to weather. But on Friday James came home for lunch, said the weather forecast looked great so we were going. Leaving Cedar we had a little rain/snow, but then it was clear and dry...till Provo. Stupid Happy Valley! :p I started to rain and stayed rain till about Farmington, then it started to snow. By Layton it was bad. But the further north we went it seemed to get less and less. We finally made it. Saturday was pretty crazy but we finally got everything done and rounded up and got to Kim and Gordy's for the festivities. :)
We had dinner, while we talked and listened to music. Then we had our white elephant gift exchange which is really fun every year. Everyone seemed to really like the gifts they got this year. Then it was dessert and home...well Perry for us. :p Sunday we got a real early head start since a storm was coming and we didn't want to get caught in it. These trips are fun but after 4 weekend in a row of driving. I think I need a break. just 2 more weekends of driving and I'll get it. :) Here are pictures from our trip.
Oh yeah! Saturday Morning we bundled Avery up so she could see snow for the first time. At first she was curious but after touching the snow a few times she made up her mind that it wasn't for her.
She really enjoyed licking it though.
Anticipating the flash. :) I just think this is so cute.
This is such a cute outfit. This is her Christmas outfit from her Nona (Grandma A.)
 Playing Santa
 Present time
Avery loved the paper and the rope on the bag.

Earl Family Christmas Party

This past weekend we were able to go back up North for my family's Christmas party. The weekend itself was VERY stressful. But we made it through. :) It was a lot of fun seeing my family again. I dont get to see them a lot so when I do it's nice. My sister in law Heather put the party together and she really out did herself. The decorations looked AWESOME! We had dinner and then she had gingerbread men and houses for everyone to decorate. then Santa and Mrs. Claus showed up. :D the kids LOVED this...well all except Adam. He seemed a little shocked when Santa called his name. :p Avery did NOT like Santa. We didnt think she would mind this year. We thought she would just look at him. So when he called her name I took her up there and let her look at them. She seemed fine. Just looked with wide eyes completely interested. Mrs. Claus said she wanted her and as soon as she took her Avery started shrieking. Even after I took her back she wouldnt have it. We opened up the gift to show her. it was a cute little teddy bear. Again she wanted nothing to do with it. it took a good 10 to 15 min to calm her down. After Santa left we continued a family tradition thats been going on...well since I can remember. The Christmas Party Pinata. :D I really love this tradition. Even though I am to old to take a wack at the pinata. :( Its still fun to watch all the kids. I'm excited that I'll be able to introduce Avery to this tradition next year. :) It started to sno again and it was starting to stick. So James and I decided to cut out early. I am really glad we did too because if we didnt leave when we did we would have been shacking up at someones house or getting a hotel. Thanks Heatehr for keeping the Christmas party going. It's so fun. Here are some pictures of the evening. Oh by the way if any family is reading this and has pictures of that night PLEASE email them to me. Thanks!

P.S. Sorry the pictures are so dark. I am having issues with my picture editing program.

HAPPY 12-12-12 :)

Well I am going to post about our weekend tomorrow. But I wanted to give an update or else it may not make sense. For the past year we have been back and forth with the bank about our Condo. We had it up for Sale then short sale but good ol Fannie just doesnt want to work with us. Guess that explains why her name is Fannie. Wow I'm all sorts of full of lame jokes tonight. Anyway we have had 2 serious buyers one the bank did approve but he just couldnt come up with the money. The second the bank thought her offer was to low. her and her husband really wanted the Condo though and put in a higher bid. We a re still waiting to hear but it sounds like the bank is just not going to do it. Which means they are going to try and auction our condo and go to foreclosure. So we've been working with our realitor really hard to try and get them to accept the offer so it isnt forclosed on. but like I said we dont think it's going to happen. Well enough of the depressing news now for the good. James got a job offer at Ogden Clinic with an orthopedic sergeon. threy mostly do carpal tunnel surgery and things like that. We are excited about moving back up north. He starts on Jan 2nd and we'll be moving up on the 28th. Crazy Right! We're going to live in James' parents basement till we figure out what the foreclosure is going to do and till we get back on our feet. Again we have had support and quite bit of harsh judgement about this. But I think the people judging us are people who wish they had a reset button like we do. Thats truly how we are seeing this is a reset or refresh button. The only debt we have is student loans unless we owe anything with this foreclosure. So we'll be able to pay off those and finally be debt free.
Seriously James and I feel like we have not only hit rock bottom this year. But after we hit, someone decided it wasnt good enough and decided to take a jack hammer to the rock and tell us to fall more. I have been so surprised at once again the people who are rallying around us and lifting us up. And then the people who I feel like doesnt even want us around and have shunned us. It has felt like High School all over again. I'm sorry I didnt mean for this post to turn into a negative rant. The point is things are looking up. We are hoping that 2013 will be a better year for us.
