Girl Scouts and End of School

He first week of June has brought a lot of "end of the year" fun. On June 7 Avery had her last girl scouts activity for the year. They went to Muggly's in Toledo and went bowling. Kilian was so excited about all the kids, lights, and loud sounds. Avery had a lot of fun with her daisy group running around eating pizza and using the ramp to help them roll their ball down the alley.
After the bowling alley we headed to the armory for a badge ceremony. Avery was very excited about this part because it meant getting all the badges they had been working on. Daisy's are the youngest group and so they went first. Avery was close to last and was almost jumping out of her seat by they time her name was called. She was so excited to get her badges and then take a pictures with her daisy class.
We decided to start the summer celebrating a little early. We have a yearly pass to the Oregon Coast Aquarium and though it would be fun to spend a Saturday there. We really love spending time at the aquarium.
A couple days later we enjoyed some rock painting while we enjoyed the beautiful weather. Avery and I painted rocks with acrylic paint. Kilian painted rocks with water. :)

After A long week for Avery and a short week for us. :p The last day of school finally came. She loaded the bus in the morning all smiles and excited.
But got off the bus in tears and very sad that she wasn't going to school for 3 whole months. :p Luckily I reminded her that her birthday party is this weekend so she gets to look forward to that.
