But the guy told James that because she didn't have a stamp she couldn't go on the rides. We needed to buy tickets at the front if she wanted to go on any of those rides. But without a stamp or tickets she could only ride the merry go round, train and farris wheel. So we headed over to the merry go round. On the way there we passed this game that I knew Avery could do. As soon as I took her out of the stroller and she saw the rubber ducky's floating in the water. she got really excited and yelled out DUCKY. Then she kept saying ducky ducky and I think she was saying quack. It didn't take long for her to grab one and she was so happy. Then the guy behind the counter (who was really good with her) took the duck and she got very mad, until he showed her 3 different color starfish that she could choose from. She was very proud and happy about her little blue starfish. :)
After the game we continued to the merry go round. we decided to put her on a animal that wouldn't go up and down, but after we got her on and buckled, she really hated that. So we sat in one of the chairs to show her it was ok. She didn't really know what to think...but I think she enjoyed the ride. :p
As soon as we sat down Avery made friends with the people sitting across from us. Again I think she liked riding the train too. she was a little more animated with the train then she was on the merry go round.
By this time it was really hot. Avery's face and arms were starting to get red. So we went to pioneer village to find some shade to rest in and to call Mom and Dad A. to see where they were. They babysat Avery for the rest of the night (THANKS AGAIN!) and James and I were able to have a date night. It was nice to spend time with James...and go on the roller coasters and other fun rides. :)
It did start to rain pretty heavy so finally after playing a game we decided to call it quits and head home. Again though it was nice to get that time with James.
