We walked around and had some yummy food for as long as we could all stand the cold. Then we hurried back to the car to get nice and warm and headed back home.
James was at work when we went the first time. So on Sat Sept 2 we headed back over. It was still cold but not as rainy wet as Friday was. We got to walk around and take a look at a lot more things this time.
Later that night we came back to enjoy Peach Days at night and take advantave of the foam dance. My niece Erika was in town with her kiddos and they met us over there. The kids had so much fun dancing/playing in the foam. James found a bench to sit on and rest his back, next thing we knew the kids were taking armfuls of foam and dumping it on him. They even got random kids we've never met to do it. At first Avery was a little shy to get in the foam. But once she saw the Jensen kids (Erika's kids) running in, her shyness melted right away and she had so much fun.
We wandered around for a little but with the kids now soaked because of the foam and no dinner in their bellies we decided to call it. We said our goodbyes to Erika and her kids and headed out for a family tradition. We go get a pizza (usually from Little Caesars) and then go find nice place on the hill to eat and watch the fireworks. Peach Days is a lot of fun and we are looking forward to next year.
