Hurried Holiday Dec

We started December off with Breakfast with Santa. The Lions club was hosting in Yachats. We were able to have pancakes, eggs and bacon. Avery made a paper gingerbread man and then her and Kilian got to go see Santa. Avery as you can see was VERY excited. Kilian on the other hand, not so much. :p
There were quite a few beautiful mornings that I was able to take advantage of and go for walks on the beach in the morning. It was quite peaceful.

I tried to bleach my hair. With all the times I had died it purple it was starting to look black. So I thought if I bleached it then died it purple again I could get more of the purple look and less black. I had NO idea it would turn PINK! Because bleaching your hair really hurts your hair I had to wait a while before I could dye it purple or else I would end up frying my hair and have it potentially fall out. I spent all of December with pink hair; it wasn't to bad though and it actually started to grow on me. :) I felt like I could even pull off a hipster look. :p
I did get a hair cut which took out quite a bit of the pink.
Mom and Dad A. Were going to be heading back to Utah for Christmas and wanted to take us to see these amazing lights. So on a day that both James and I had off we all headed down to Coo's Bay.
First they took us to the dunes and a beach on/by the dunes.
The water was absolutely gorgeous that day, like a blue and green
It was hard keeping Kilian out and away from the water. :)
After the beach we went and gased up and grabbed some lunch and then continued on to Coo's Bay and the gardens where the lights were. We were there a little early so we got to explore the park around the gardens and got for a short hike. It was so beautiful and a lot of fun.
When the sun went down and it started to get dark we headed back over to the gardens to enjoys the lights. They did a fantastic job, it was so fun and the lights were amazing.
After the lights we stopped and had pizza before making the almost 2 hour trek back to Seal Rock.
