With Avery in Lake Havasu with Caitlin and her family, I felt bad for Kilian. He's been missing Avery and doesn't have a lot of friends to play with right now. Then I remembered that this was the weekend for the county fair. After checking to make sure it wasn't going to be overly expensive, James and I made a plan. He would meet us there after work and I was going to surprise Kilian. When he saw the ride in the distance he said "mom can we got there sometime?" when I told him that's where we were going he got SO excited. I was on the phone with James and he said "daddy were going to a carnival I want you to come too can you?" Then became even more excited when James said he was already there waiting for us. We started off with the "boring" stuff first, well boring for Kilian. we went and looked at all the different vendors, animals and various crafts, baked goods, etc. Kilian really loved the tractors.
We got to see so many cute animals, Kilian absolutely refused to go on the pony rides. But seemed excited to see the chickens. The baby goat that was only 12 hours old!!! That was my favorite apart from the horses of course. James was in heaven with all the goats, especially all the kid goats around. He kept saying how much he missed our goats.
After lunch we ran into our friends Kai , and Cameron Whiting and their dad. Kilian wanted to go on a ride with them but the ride they chose he was still just a little to short for. After a quick goodbye he ran to look at more rides. He chose a car ride that goes up, down and around and a wavy jet ski ride. He also got a chance to play a couple games and won some prizes. Overall it was a very fun day and I now have a very tired boy on my hands. I am so glad we had the chance to spend this time together, I felt in my heart and soul that it was very much needed.
