Everything has been a bit doom and gloom lately. I decided we needed to get out of the house and take advantage of the nice weather and go for a ride. There is a road that I always pass by on my way into town and I've always wanted to take it and thought this would be a great chance to do so. I am so glad we did. The dirt road went from the highway going to Apple Valley to the highway that leads into Zion's. On the way we found a sign that read Virgin River Park and so naturally I turned down it. We found this "park" which is mostly just a place to park your vehicle. But which lead to easy access to the virgin river. It was so beautiful and we took a moment to have a little fun playing in the water.
I really love living in the desert and all the beauty that surrounds us.
