Shelly and Nathan were able to come down for the funeral, however Nathan wasn't able to stay the whole time because he had to work. So him and the kids left on Sunday, this left Shelly needing a ride home from the funeral. Yes I had other family down and yes my sister Kari volunteered to drive her home. But I just felt like I needed a little get away, so I told her I would drive her. After the funeral and lunch we came home and packed our bags and headed up North to stay with Shelly and Nathan. Very spur of the moment but James was ok with it and I feel like it's a much needed respite. Plus Shelly is fostering kittens right now and who doesn't love playing with kittens. :)
