NovembAAAAAAA!

The baaa at the end of November is for either sleep deprivation or the sound you make when you are going crazy. That's pretty much how our November has been. James and Dad A have been working like mad in the basement to get ready for carpet. After they were done they ordered the carpet and we waited...and waited...and waited. finally 2 weeks later the carpet guy came. he was very nice and very professional.

 After the carpet went in it was crazy, stress filled AHHHH days. trying to get doors hung back on the hinges and to go through the mass of box's and furniture in the basement to find beds, dressers, etc. But we got our beds set up and decided that was good enough till after Thanksgiving. We had a good Thanksgiving this year...at least I enjoyed myself. :) It was with my family this year and my sister Kari reserved her church in West Jordan. She did a wonderful job! The decorations were super cute, the food was delicious and I loved the activities. She had a leaf wreath where you would write down what you were thankful for on a leaf and the pin it to a wreath hung on the wall. I really loved this idea and think I will add it to our family traditions. She had a craft table for the kids where she had coloring books and placemats with crayons and markers (Avery LOVED this) and she had a Styrofoam like ornament that the kids could make. She also brought a quilt to be tied  and fleece blankets to tie for the homeless. all in all it was a great thanksgiving.

Avery was so excited and having such a good time running all over the place it was hard to get her to sit still. even for just one simple little picture. :p

 After Thanksgiving we were able to dig some furniture out and are now slowly getting our rooms put together. when we are done I will post picture of the completed look. :)
